On 5th March 2009 the Embassy of Poland in Washington D.C. (2640 16th Street N.W.) was peresenting a vernissage of Józef Stolorz's artwork called "Contemplating Time and Place". On 26th February - 2nd March 2009 his artwork was presented at ARTEXPO in New York, USA. Józef Stolorz was the first Polish who took part in the fair as an individual artist. ARTEXPO is considered to be the world's largest event on the contemporary art market, which played an important role in promoting such artists as Andy Warhol, Robert Indiana and Peter Max.
